Inspired by an article last year, Bobby and Alex take a deep dive into the history of “Backyard Baseball,” the kids-video-game-turned-cult-classic that they grew up with. Download Backyard Baseball 2001. Once the ZIP file has downloaded, double click to open it.
It will reveal an ISO file called Backyard Baseball 2001. Double click to open the ISO file. It should open a drive that looks like this. Create a new folder on your desktop (or wherever you will remember) and call it Backyard Baseball. Select all the contents of the ISO drive and drag them into the folder you just created. Now, open up ScummVM and click “Add Game” on the right hand side.
Find the folder you created and click “Choose.” 9. You should see a screen like the one below. Press ok, select the game, and press start! The video game emulator ScummVM.
Save to your desktop, or wherever is convenient for you. Download Backyard Baseball 1997, or Backyard Baseball 2001.

Product Information • Part of the Humongous Sports series, Backyard Baseball 2001 is a customizable sports title featuring the Backyard Kids, as well a few smaller versions of Major League pros. Children can select from 30 Major League Baseball teams and compile their rosters any way they choose. Kid versions of Randy Johnson, Ivan Rodriguez, Mo Vaughn, and Cal Ripken, Jr.
Are just a few of the choices available to comprise a team. Players are then given the option to play a single game or start a series. As with other titles in the Backyard series, the game begins in the clubhouse where players view and select their many options. Team logo, difficulty settings, sound effects, and player positions are some of the customizable options.
